Abstract

Selective arterial embolization (SAE) of the prostatic arteries (PA) is a fundamentally new, safe and effective method of treating the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). The article describes the method, its features, advantages, as well as possible complications and limitations.
