Abstract
Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) is a symptom complex characterized by arterial and venous thrombosis of various localization, pregnancy pathology, thrombocytopenia, antibodies to phospholipids, which are present in blood and are found on platelet membranes, endothelial cells and in nervous tissue. In the clinical observation, we described a patient who was hospitalized at a young age with an acute ischemic stroke of unknown etiology. But after in-depth diagnostics, ischemic stroke associated with systemic lupus erythematosus with antiphospholipid syndrome, was diagnosed. The article focuses on the differential diagnostics of antiphospholipid syndrome as well as diseases with similar neurological symptoms.
